REMARKS: Duffy & Duffy (now Atlantic Boat Company), has a reputation for their proven "downeast" semi displacement hulls, developed over the last 150 years, for the rigors of fishing the Maine coast. Their boats are more stable, ride better, and are more fuel efficient than twin engine "V-shaped" hulls of equal weight and horsepower. The Duffy 48 is a very big 48' trawler, due to her wide 17' 6" beam, the beam of a yacht 10' longer. This Duffy 48 was built for her first and only yachtsman owner. "Sheer Bliss" features with a custom interior, designed by her original naval architect Spencer Lincoln, of Maine. She has been maintained to new condition through out.
